Boston Independence Exchange 2010
The Boston Independence Exchange (BIX) is getting ready for the main event. Four days of dancing over Memorial Day weekend with the best swing and blues music that Boston has to offer. With five live bands, stellar DJs and over 24 hours of dancing this is an event not to be missed. In our fourth year we're turning macabre for a side show of circus and cabaret themes. BIX strives to unite dancers from different scene within Boston and throughout the country, partnering with major bands and venues to create a totally unique event. Registration opens today!
As of 5pm EST, registration will be open and the first 25 people get the early bird discount! On Memorial Day weekend this year, Boston will have 5 days of dancing with 5 live bands, awesome venues, a couple hundred fantastic people to dance with, and inspiring and creative costumes, themes, and performers related to this year's Circus Cabaret event theme.
It will be an experience to remember, so register today!

Music Update: We have some great music for our awesome weekend and we have two band announcements!
The Fried Bananas will be our main dance band for Friday night! Our homegrown swing band has played at Boston Independence Exchange 2009 and many other local events, we love them and we know you will too. Check them out at their website www.thefriedbananas.com.
For Saturday night we have the one, the only, The Boilermakers! People love these guys, they play big events all over the country and we will have them for our main dance. If you've never heard them play they are certainly not to be missed. Check out the Boilermakers at their website www.boilermakerjazzband.com
So don't pass up a chance to meet dancers from around the country and dance to these great bands!

Music Update!
Boston Independence Exchange has exciting new additions to our band line up! Our five band line up is being rounded out by these fine musicians.
Friday late night the Rusty Scott Quartet will be jazzing up with place with some of their hot sounds! This fantastic band is a Boston local and you can check them out at their website http://rustyjazz.com.
Solomon Douglas and his trio will be rocking the late night event on Saturday! These guys play all over and are a local and national favorite. If you haven't heard them play before you can check them out here at http://solomondouglas.com/.
Last and certainly not least our Sunday night band is Baby Soda! These guys are another great band full of soul, great to listen to and better to dance to. These guys are not to be missed, and if you haven't heard them check out their sound here http://www.babysoda.org/.

The weekend pass, which gives you access to every event on our official schedule, is still only $70. However on May 1st, the price will be going up to $85. So register now to save!
